MCH

The MCH value provides information about the average hemoglobin content of a single red blood cell (erythrocyte). MCH stands for Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin. It, therefore, tells you how much red blood pigment is in a red blood cell. Together with the MCV and MCHC values, triggers of possible anemia can be distinguished. On its own, however, it does not give an exact indication of a disease but is only meaningful in combination with other blood values.
