Glucose Glukose

Glucose (dextrose) is a carbohydrate and the main source of energy for the brain and muscles. It is channeled into the cells with the help of insulin. Insulin, therefore, lowers blood glucose levels.
Insulin and glucose are used to calculate the so-called HOMA index. The HOMA index indicates if you have insulin resistance. In the case of insulin resistance, cells no longer respond adequately to insulin, which increases blood glucose levels and stimulates the production of male sex hormones. This has a negative effect on the female cycle.
